BYJU’S FutureSchool is well known for providing live, one-on-one online classes and impactful, interactive learning opportunities to young children across many global areas.
Now, BYJU’S FutureSchool looks to bridge the gap between passive and active learning for eager students throughout Australia, bringing innovative, real-time instruction and outcome-driven courses to kids nationwide and beyond.
BYJU’S FutureSchool first announced its intention to launch in Australia back in April: “We believe that through technology, we can inspire kids in Australia and all over the world to fall in love with learning,” said Byju Raveendran, the organization’s founder, and CEO at the time.
The brand’s recent expansion into Australia is critical, as families are reportedly seeking supplemental learning resources for their children more than ever.
The online platform plans to launch computer coding and math classes across the Australian market. With this launch, the school aims to provide local children and families engagement and personalized learning through a unique one-on-one, live teaching experience they will never forget.
BYJU’S FutureSchool: Providing Australian Students An Innovative, Activity-based Online Curriculum
BYJU’S FutureSchool’s model runs on a proprietary activity-based curriculum. Initially focused only on early coding, the school’s growing range of classes and unique approach to education promises to provide an invaluable resource of support and skills development to young learners across the country.
Moreover, each course is facilitated and supplemented by well-trained educators passionate about teaching and a commitment to student success.
This time around, learning is primarily anchored in storytelling.
FutureSchool educators have discovered how powerful storytelling can be as an online teaching tool, facilitating learning in an engaging manner that translates directly into real-world applications of math and other fundamental subjects.
Australian students were invited to explore the online learning platform for the first time last month. In addition to launching in Australia, BYJU’S FutureSchool is looking to establish additional operations in the United States and the United Kingdom.
English, Science, Music, and Fine Art Classes Coming Soon
BYJU’S FutureSchool is developing various classes on other topics for the Australian market. Each type is designed based on a philosophy that children should be creators, inspired to explore a subject deeply.
With that, they can apply their newly discovered skills to create everything from mobile apps and websites to music and art.
The platform currently has over 80 million registered students around the world. Powered by 11,000 qualified teachers based in India, the platform’s team primarily focuses on engaging with students from English-speaking countries.
That said, plans are now in place to move into non-English-speaking markets, including Mexico, Indonesia, and Brazil.
